The Québec government Take advantage of ecommerce grants
Shifting to digital is a must. Businesses can no longer afford to have just a website for their online presence. You must market your website to penetrate and develop new markets.
Québec companies must take the next step in their digital transformations. That is why the Québec government is offering a helping hand to retailers by giving $4.63 million to the Conseil québécois du commerce de détail (CQCD) to support their digital initiatives.
Québec estimates that approximately 90% of companies in the province’s retail sector only have an informational website—and “only 14% of them use an online platform to sell their products and services.”
The government’s contribution will provide 1325 retailers $3494 each to evaluate their digital needs and get a customized action plan to develop their ecommerce strategy.
